Greetings

I am Abirami Krishnasamy -As an artist, I breathe life into my surroundings through vibrant colors and evocative strokes. In the classroom, I love to inspire and empower budding talents, fostering a love for creativity in the hearts. At home, I cultivate an oasis of warmth and tranquility, where every corner reflects their unique touch. My passion for plants brings nature's beauty indoors, creating a sanctuary of greenery and life. And as a devoted mother of two, I embrace each day with boundless joy, laughter, and love, cherishing the precious moments of family life. My life embodies a harmonious blend of artistry, teaching, homemaking, and motherhood, infusing each role with passion, dedication, and an unwavering zest for life.

To me, Art is another form of meditation. Art has the power to transform, illuminate, educate, inspire and motivate. I am fascinated by many different types of art forms and I find inspiration in fragments of nature held close for reflection and it’s a joy to play with colors on all mediums like paper, canvas, cloth etc.I loved sketching when I was young and picked up an interest in painting during my early childhood. When I was in middle school, I was trained well by my gurus Mrs.Dhanalakshmi and Mrs.Navaneetham who are fine art teachers in my native home town Virudhunagar in India and they are my inspiration. Over the years, I shaped up my knowledge by trying various Art forms, techniques and my interest became passion. I also got certified as an art instructor by Grumbacher.

Art gives me an immense pleasure to teach art to my awesome students and happy to see wonderful artworks from my students who live in places across US and Canada. It's always fun to work on an art project and the act of creating brings me true happiness. Teaching and sharing this skill with children gives me an abundance of joy and sense of purpose . Moments when kids have fun in mixing colors and the pride on their face when they succeed in making their thoughts and vision a real work of art are priceless.

I strongly believe that creativity helps with wellbeing and improves mental health and happiness. Take a break from the virtual world, explore different art mediums, unleash your creativity, build artworks that you can be proud of and more importantly have fun while doing so!
